The position is perfect – situated in a little row of cottages with a car-free frontage with outdoor seating for enjoying that morning coffee. It is utterly peaceful except for the sound of bird song and the occasional church bells. Take the secret path from the front door and you’ll find the beautiful secret garden, completely private and full of flowers, with seating, a garden room and gorgeous views over open countryside. At night-time the light pollution is low so the skies are full of stars – and there is a firepit and blankets to keep you warm.

Other things to note

There is usually a parking space right by the cottage, and if not there is parking in the village close to the cottage and you can load/unload the car outside. There is additional parking at the top of the village and it is totally safe everywhere.

Please note: This is a 300 year old cottage so some of the ceiling beams are quite low and the stairs are steeper and narrower than a modern house. It is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties or for very tall people.
